Coach Tarell Robinson

Head Coach/Founder

Tarell played High School Basketball at the Prestigious High School St. Benedict's Prep. There he played alongside some of the most premiere athletes in the area including: JR Smith (NBA) Alex Galindo (Puerto Rico National Team) and Bashir Mason(Head Coach Wagner University). He then went on to play collegiate basketball at Caldwell Univirsty and ultimately finishing his collegiate career at Rutgers University-Camden. During his senior season he was top 20 in the NJAC in Blocks, Rebounds, and Steals. Immediately following his senior year Robinson went straight into the coaching field as a Grad Assistant at Rutgers University. There he helped bridge the gap between the players and coaching staff. After graduating Robinson joined his Uncle and Mentor Vincent Robinson in creating the Prestigious Prep school "The Robinson School". At The Robinson School Coach Tarell played a pivotal role in assisting over 75 student athletes receive full scholarships to NCAA Division I and Division II Colleges and Universities, NAIA Colleges, and Division I and Division II Junior Colleges. During his tenure at The Robinson School they were ranked in the top 20 each year, peaking at # 9 in the 2010-2011 season. Coach Tarell has also taken to the personal training where he focuses on skill development. He has worked with well over 300 athletes at the High School level or below. He has worked with 100+ athletes at the Collegiate level. As well as 50+ athletes at the professional level. Coach Tarell loves working with kids of all ages, and is the founder of the Ball With Heart AAU program!!

Coach Jarell Thomas

Assistant Coach/Lead Trainer

Jarell played basketball for Union High School for one year before realizing he loved training way more than the actual game. It was something about hard work, preparation, and pushing yourself that stood out to him. He decided to attend Kean University obtaining a degree in Physical Education. This enabled him to pursue his passion of teaching kids both inside and outside of the classroom. He was an assistant coach and trainer for Hoops There It Is in Cranford, NJ for 3 years. He was a head coach, personal trainer, and lead trainer at Peak Sports Academy for two years in Mountainside, NJ. He is currently the head coach for University Middle School in Irvington, NJ for the middle school girls.  Overall, Coach Jarell has 6 years of experience of training, coaching, and mentoring kids in both basketball and life.
